Description
The Russo-Japanese War Site of East Jiguan Mountain is located in the northeast of the urban area of Lushunkou District, Dalian. It was an important battlefield on the eastern defense line of Lushun Land War in the Russo-Japanese War in 1904. At present, relatively complete Russo-Japanese War sites are preserved here, mainly including the Russo-Japanese War Exhibition Hall, the North Fortress of East Jiguan Mountain, the Erlongshan Fortress, the Lookout Fort and other relics. The Russo-Japanese War Exhibition Hall uses various forms such as Guide and physical displays to enrich and detail the information and deeply expose the crimes of imperialism invading China. There are more than 300 important historical data photos, physical objects, charts, etc. from the Sino-Japanese War and the Russo-Japanese War, and a large-scale electronically controlled sand table and film and television documentary of the Lushun Fortress Battle during the Russo-Japanese War produced by Changchun Film Studio. The North Fortress of Dongjiguana Mountain is mainly composed of the fortress gate, officer rooms, barracks, ammunition depot, telephone room, side defense bunkers, outer tunnels, protective trenches, trapezoidal wells, secret passages, artillery positions, machine gun positions, kitchen and dressing station, bunkers, fortress backyard, wooden suspension bridge, trenches and other facilities. The northwest to southwest and south are logistics and living facilities, and the northeast to southeast are military and political combat defense facilities.
