Hongxi is located in Zhongyong Township, Lingui District, Guilin City, 40 kilometers away from the city. Hongxi is named because most of the stream stones are red purple sandstone. In the sun, the stream stones of Hongxi are extremely red, and the stream water and stream scenery are colorful. It is the "Colorful Stream" of Guilin and also a "Colorful Stream" in China.
