No. 188, Shantang Street, Mudu Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City

Description
The history of Mudu Ancient Town is as old as the ancient city of Suzhou itself. The Qing Dynasty Yanjia Garden (Guanyuan) in the ancient town has been used for more than 400 years, which sufficiently explains its "tall, large and superior" status. There is a big stage in the Hongyin Mountain House. Every time the Emperor Qianlong visited Jiangnan, he would come here to watch the theater. There are twenty emperorial edicts in the house. The Xiaoyin Garden of the Rainbow Drinking Mountain House is the former residence of the "Embroiderer Empress" Shen Shou. Inside the Gusong Garden from the Qing Dynasty, the carvings in the hall are exceedingly beautiful. There is a 500-year-old Podocarpus in the back garden. The Yao Jianping Embroidery Art Museum on the west side of the back garden is also worth visiting.
